Hello!Julie Dameron, a board certified physician assistant (PA-C), graduated as valedictorian in 1981 from Salem College in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. She then attended the Physician Assistant Program at Bowman Gray School of Medicine and graduated in the class of 1983.
From 1984 to 2009 she worked for George Mitchell, MD in a solo practice in Washington, DC, specializing in integrative-functional medicine. Mrs. Dameron continued on that same path with Duane Anderson, MD at the Center for Advanced Wellness in Fredericksburg, VA from 2007 to December 2012. After Dr. Anderson's retirement at the end of 2012, Julie has continued to treat patients at The Center for Advanced Wellness under her own professional corporation. Her primary supervising physician is Leila Zackrison, M.D. Alternates are Matthew Hengy, DO, George Mitchell, MD, and Jason Sneed, DO. Her expertise includes digestive disorders, thyroid, adrenal and metabolic issues, autoimmune disease, nutritional therapies (oral and IV), environmental medicine, bioenergetic screenings, dietary counseling, bio-identical hormone therapy (men and women), and anti-aging strategies. |
